Measuring what Matters Learning Partnership: Happiness Curriculum
Today the Measuring what Matters Learning Partnership welcomed Dr. Sreehari Ravindranath, the Associate Director for Research and Impact at Dream a Dream, to present on India’s Happiness Curriculum. The Happiness Curriculum strives to support learners in developing self-awareness and mindfulness; inculcating skills of critical thinking and inquiry; communicating effectively and expressing themselves freely and creatively; developing empathy and building healthy relationships; applying life skills to deal with stressful and conflicting situations around them; and developing social awareness and values.
Dr. Ravindranath led a discussion on measuring the impact of the Happiness Curriculum, its reception among parents and teachers, and the tangible results that schools see in participating learners.
